Hitting hard at former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that a person is brazenly making a spectacle of law and judicial system but still he is being ‘encouraged’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The minister was addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Wednesday speaking at length on the kicking off of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s Jail Bharo Tehreek. She lamented that Imran had been staging a drama in the country for the last 9 months.
“A person is mocking the entire system, judiciary and law, but he is granted permission to do so. He is a blue-eyed (Ladla). Why this facility is being granted to him,” she added.
The minister deplored that the entire nation and the world was watching in amazement if there was any constitution, judicial system or rule of law in the country.
A criminal is being called upon and beseeched, but he still persists in his hooliganism and everyone is watching helplessly, Auranzeb added.
“This is the power of a narcissist and an egoist which does not let him come under the rule of law and he keeps on making fun of the judicial system,” she maintained.

She took a swipe at Imran saying “the one who wants to fill the jails, was scared of appearing before the judge fearing his arrest”.
Lashing out at the President Office, Aurangzeb said that it had turned into a PTI office.
Imran wants the president to become everything – from Supreme Court, high court, chief election commissioner and to parliament, she jeered.
She said when the Lahore High Court ordered Imran to personally appear before it on Monday, the PTI chief besieged the high court with a number of his party activists. “The criminal was given full time to accumulate his workers and overwhelmed the court. But the court did not order for his arrest,” Aurangzeb expressed her bewilderment saying if such facility was available to 220 million people of Pakistan.
She said that during Nawaz Sharif’s hearing in the accountability court, then interior minister Ahsan Iqbal was stopped outside the court.
“Why Imran was allowed to bring his people along with him in the court,” she asked.
She said that getting pre-arrest bail was part of Imran’s scheme not to become part of the investigation. “One who does not appear before the court, how he could appear before the FIA,” she rued.
The information minister said that it was irony of the fate that a three-time former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was not allowed to meet his ailing wife on even a three-day parole and the PML-N supremo used to appear before the court every day.
She said that when Shehbaz Sharif was the opposition leader, he used to appear before the accountability court every time.
He took a dig at Imran saying that he appeared before the LHC judge to explain his position why there were different signatures on his petitions.
“One who is announcing to fill the jails, is seeking bails to avert his own arrest,” she nailed the PTI chief.
