Two held in FIA’s crackdown on illegal nursing colleges

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Wednesday held two suspects during a crackdown on illegal nursing colleges, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Accused Muhammad Saeed was arrested from PICE College of Nursing, whereas, Sardar Basharat Siddique was arrested from Sadozai Institute of Medical Sciences, Rawalpindi.
A case was also registered against the owners of Professional College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Islamabad.
It was leant that the accused had advertised admissions into their colleges on social media and swindled gullible individuals out of a huge amount of money.
The institutions lacked faculty and labs. The accused had also signed several fake Memorandums of Understanding (MoU).
Separate cases were registered against the accused and investigation launched.
