A couple who contracted love marriage has approached a court in Karachi asking for providing safety, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Reportedly, Qilandar Bukhsh and his wife Anam, who hail from Hyderabad, approached a court in Karachi on Saturday and asked for protection.
They said their family had made their lives hell because they contracted a free-will marriage. The couple said they were receiving life threats from their family members.
They also appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed to provide them protection.
