Nadra launches Pak ID app's new version

NADRA's Pak ID Mobile App has been launched in a new version, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In version 3.8.1 of the Pak ID Mobile App, more new features have been provided for the preparation of identity documents.
In case of fingerprint unavailability for the elderly or for any other reason, a new alternative method of verification has been provided.
In case fingerprint verification is not available, the citizen can complete his verification process with the help of his face.
With the help of the Pak ID application, citizens can avail themselves of the facility of creating an identity card or a NICOP in case of B-form availability.
In addition, the procedure for amendments to the identity card has been further simplified in the new version of the application.
The feature of a dematerialised digital identity card has also been integrated into the Pak ID Mobile App.
With this new feature, citizens can save their identity cards on their smartphones.
The aim of introducing the new feature is to innovate the identity system and facilitate access to government services for citizens.
