Govt names team to investigate PIA plane crash

The federal government late on Friday evening constituted a team to investigate the PIA plane crash in Karachi.
A PIA plane flying from Lahore to Karachi crashed in a residential area near the Karachi airport moments before it was set to land at the airport. Late on Friday night, officials confirmed death of at least 66 of 98 passengers and crew members who were onboard the plane.
In a tweet on Sunday evening, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCCA) shared the news about formation of the team to investigate the incident and named members of the investigation team.
The Federal Government has constituted an Investigation Team with the following composition, to investigate the tragic accident of M/s PIACL flight No. PK-8303 operating from Lahore to Karachi that met with an ill-fated accident on 22nd May, 2020. pic.twitter.com/iz9Sb3FvW3
