India vs Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup held on Sunday turned out to be absolute chaos in the final over of the match, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Australian former spinner Brad Hogg questioned through his Twitter account, “Why was no-ball not reviewed, then how can it not be a dead ball when Kohli was bowled on a free hit.”

India narrowly won the game in the final ball of the over as Ashwin hit Mohammad Nawaz for a four, as a full 40 overs were played in Melbourne despite the rain threat.

Major points of controversies emerged in the final over of the match as India defeated Pakistan after they were drubbed in the UAE in the Asia Cup tournament.

Pakistan needed to defend 16 in the final over of the match and Pakistan skipper handed the ball to left arm off-spinner Mohammad Nawaz.

The spinner started off the over very well and picked up the wicket of Hardik Pandya. The second ball of the over was a single to Virat Kohli and then all of a sudden, all hell broke loose. Needing 13 off the final three balls from the over, Kohli hit a six off a delivery which was called a no-ball due to waist-high. Pakistan players rushed to the umpire to appeal against the no-ball, but it was not sent for review.
