Iraqi Airforce commander visits Air Headquarters

A delegation led by Deputy Commander of the Iraqi Air Force Major General (Pilot) Muhammad Majid Mahdi Mahmood Thursday called on Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sadhu at Air Headquarters, reported 24NewsHD TV on Thursday.
The two dignitaries discussed issues of professional and mutual interest. Muhammad Majeed Mahdi Mahmood praised the Pakistan Air Force for its professionalism and self-reliance in the aviation industry.
The Air Chief said that Pakistan and Iraq have a long-standing religious, cultural and historical relationship which is a testament to the strong ties between the Air Forces of both nations.
The Chief of Air Staff assured the guest that the Pakistan Air Force would continue its cooperation in training and technical fields to meet the military needs of the Iraqi Air Force.
The two leaders agreed to further enhance cooperation in other areas, including the JF-17 program.
