Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan’s upcoming movie Abir Gulaal has been banned from releasing in India hours after the speculations, confirmed by Indian government sources.
The powerful decision came in the wake of the terror attack on tourists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which killed 26 people.
The situation intensified even more when the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), a prominent industry organization representing more than 500,000 film and television professionals, reaffirmed its longstanding order prohibiting Pakistani artists, singers, and technicians from taking part in Indian productions.
Fawad Khan has made his comeback to Bollywood through the movie after long periods of nine-year.
The romantic comedy drama Abir Gulaal features Fawad Khan along with prominent Indian star Vaani Kapoor.
