The court extended the interim bail of former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in the case of accusing former president Asif Ali Zardari of alleged conspiracy to kill PTI founder Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Judicial Magistrate Islamabad Dr Sohail Thahim conducted the hearing of the case on Saturday.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed appeared before the court along with his lawyer Sardar Shahbaz and others.

The court asked the lawyer will you give the arguments in this case.

Senior counsel Sardar Abdul Razzaq is to give arguments, he is busy in the high court bar elections and will give arguments on next hearing, lawyer Sardar Shahbaz replied.

Sheikh Rashid requested the court to give some date after Ramadan on which the court extended the interim bail of Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

The court adjourned the hearing directing the parties to submit arguments on the next hearing.

A case has been registered against Sheikh Rashid Ahmed at Abpara police station.

In his statement, Sheikh Rashid accused Asif Zardari of conspiracy to kill PTI founder.

Talking to media after court hearing Sheikh Rasheed replying questions said that he lost the election and media knows everything that elections were fair or not.
