Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has put her professional commitments on hold after her mother Kim Fernandez was hospitalized, according to media reports.
The actress immediately returned home to be with her family during this difficult time. A viral video circulating online shows Jacqueline arriving in Mumbai to meet her ailing mother, who has reportedly been admitted to the ICU.
This isn’t the first health scare for Kim Fernandez. Back in 2022, she was hospitalized in Bahrain after suffering a stroke.
In an interview with India TV, Jacqueline spoke about her deep bond with her mother, sharing how her family’s support has been a source of strength despite living independently.
Jacqueline Fernandez is set to appear in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Firoz A. Nadiadwala. The film features an ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Johnny Lever, and Rajpal Yadav.
She is also gearing up for ‘Housefull 5’, the latest instalment in the popular Bollywood comedy franchise. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is expected to take a thrilling turn with a murder mystery set on a cruise ship. The movie, featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Sonam Bajwa, and Dino Morea, is slated for a June 6, 2025 release.
