Sniffer dogs to track coronavirus patients at Peshawar airport

Keeping in view surge in the coronavirus cases and following successful experiment with the use of sniffer dogs to detect the coronavirus patients at Islamabad airport, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has decided to use sniffer dogs at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan airport as well to trace patients of the pandemic, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
24News has learnt that the dogs, especially trained at an army centre, would be used for the purpose.
Besides that health desk will also be set up at Peshawar airport’s arrival lounge.
A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority has told 24News that sniffer dogs are being used at the airports of different countries to track coronavirus patients.
