The provincial government has formed the Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The provincial education minister will be the chairperson of the Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority.

The vice-chairperson will be the parliamentarian secretary for schools education.

As many as 12 members have been included in the Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority.

These members include the secretary schools, secretary special education, secretary finance, secretary higher education, secretary P&D, director and CEO PEF and program director school education.

Members of Punjab Assembly Muhammad Usman Afzal, Asma Naz and Shakeel Hajaved have also been included.

Others include Principal Aitchison College Turab Hussain, Shahzad Roy, Ambreen Ajaib, Mouaaz Nazir, Faisal Bari and Sarmad Yousaf.

Future educational decisions will be made with the approval of the Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority.
