The Lahore High Court (LHC) has admitted for the hearing the petition filed by Punjab Minister for Information and PML-N leader Azma Bukhari against objectionable videos and tweets, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

LHC Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Aalia Neelum will start hearing the petition shortly.

Making the federal government and DG FIA parties to the case, Azma, in her petition, also requested the court to order the inclusion of PTI activist Falak Javed Khan’s name in the Exit Control List (ECL).

She also prayed to the court to order the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing to interrogate Falak in connection with these videos.

Later, speaking to the media, the provincial minister said today she had come to the court as an ordinary citizen of the country and as a lawyer to seek justice for Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb. “Are they not daughters of the nation?” she questioned.

Azma said that despite malicious propaganda unleased against the chief minister, the latter always believed in serving the masses.
