CTD guns down Khwarij commander in Hangu

Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in collaboration with the police has killed a commander of Fitna-e-Khwarij during a joint operation in Hangu, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Sources in Hangu police said that after receiving credible intelligence report about presence of most wanted terrorist a joint operation was conducted by CTD and Hangu Police in Shanwari area.
During heavy exchange of firing which lasted about two hours an important commander of TTP Saeed son of Sant Khan a resident of Gulbagh Hangu was killed while his other companions were fled away from the scene taking advantage of darkness.
The TTP commander was also involved in killing of policeman Qudratullah.
Sources further said that the hardened terrorist was wanted by security personnel from a marginable time.
After the operation, LEAs personnel recovered one Kalashnikov two hand-grenades and an Afghanistan-origin SIM card from his poession which also confirms his (terrorist) cross-border contacts.
