The host of ‘Kya Drama Hai’, Mukarram Kaleem, and the panel of judges including the versatile Pakistani actresses Nadia Khan, Marina Khan, and Rubina Ashraf talked about the criticism they received from many of their fellow actors in the Pakistani entertainment industry.
It is pertinent to mention here that some of the showbiz personalities complain about why these three actresses from the industry are judging the other actresses working in drama serials and talking about dramas while sitting in the show.
Comparing the matter, 'Kya Drama Hai' host Mukrram Kaleem gave the example of the ongoing World Cup 2023 where veteran cricketers like Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram, Saleem Malik, and Abdul Razzaq are talking about the current cricketers in live shows.
“I noticed one thing how strange things are happening. It is the opinion of many people that it should not be the same industry people are talking about and criticizing”, said the host.
Actress and judge Nadia Khan raised her concerns in a taunting way how can he become a judge, a judge is always an outsider, right? So how can be?
The judges must be an outsider who does not know anything while we should be judges of cricket and cricketers should talk about the dramas. Isn’t it?
On the other hand, Marina Khan said that I don't watch cricket, to which all the judges and Mukarram Kaleem replied then you are the best judge of cricket (They laughed).
Nadia Khan said: "Many people I met and talk about this show, say that the best thing about this show is that you guys are from this field (acting) and you guys know the terms and conditions of acting and the difficulties encountered in it."
Concluding the topic, the judges expressed disappointment saying that in this way they felt that they hadn’t done anything in the showbiz industry and they were nothing, they knew nothing about the drama sense.
“We have not done anything in our life, we covered our trophies and medals with a piece of cloth… everything is available on YouTube and other social media platforms, we are just fools here”, Nadia Khan stated in a taunting way.
