A special security plan has been released for the federal capital in view of the prevailing security situation triggered by the last week’s suicide blast, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to the security plan, temporary checkposts have been set up at 25 different locations in Islamabad.
The entry points of the red zone will be monitored through the safe city cameras. The video of passengers at Metro Bus Service will also be recorded.
Citizens have been advised to carry their identity documents and use the number plates on their vehicles issued by the excise office.
The motorists have also been warned against using non-specimen number plates and driving unregistered vehicles.
The foreign nationals have also been advised to carry their identity documents. People have been advised to get the names of their tenants and employees registered at the nearest police stations or service centres.
“Those who employ unregistered local or foreign workers will also be investigated,” police said.
