As many as 50 school headmasters who were recruited on contract basis across Sindh have failed to pass the Public Service Commission’s competition examination, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, the Sindh government recruited 866 headmasters in 2017 on contract basis in grade 17 through IBA to fill the shortage of headmasters in schools.
In this regard, the Sindh Public Service Commission announced the result of its competition examination on Wednesday, declaring that 816 have passed the examination, leaving behind 50.
Such failed headmasters also worked on the posts for six years. Now the Schools Education Department will recruit the 816 successful headmasters on permanent basis in grade 17 and their contract period would also be included in their service.
Earlier the concerned court in its verdict declared that the recruitment of such headmasters through IBA is against the rules of Civil Servant Act.
