Federal Minister Khawaja Asif Monday said that negotiations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) cannot take place on their terms, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Khawaja Asif, in an interview with 24NewsHD TV channel, asked why Imran Khan did not negotiate when he was in power and Shehbaz Sharif proposed a bargain. He said that now when he has lost his power, he wants to negotiate. It cannot happen as he wants.
He said that no bargains can be done with PTI. The mess and turmoil created in the last 75 years should be cleaned first and a social contract should be made before even talking about negotiations. It cannot be that two or three points are negotiated upon and the rest of the filth stays there.
Khawaja stated that the Judiciary, Establishment and all the other stakeholders should first be on the same page if the political forces want to talk.
Imran Khan got interim bail on seven cases from High Court and Shehbaz Sharif called it nothing but a good ‘stuff’ deal. Constitutional and Legal points have been raised in the decision given by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Mandokhail and this is a question mark on the ongoing process. The decision was taken in the Judiciary Restoration Movement as well that there should be a three-member committee for the Soto decision by the Apex court.
