In the rural outskirts of Thul, Sindh, measles outbreak had claimed the lives of two minor brothers. Three-year-old Khalil Ahmad and four-year-old Momin succumbed to the disease in the village of Sheikh Muhammad Phor due to outbreak of measles in the area.
The local claims that five children became the victim of measles in the current month.
They criticised dozens of measles cases are surfing in the area, indicating a rapid spread of the infection among the children but the local administration as well as the health department of Thul of Jacobabad district are not taking measures to prevent the disease.
Likewise, three children have also been died in Kunab area of Khairpur district.
The measles outbreak has taken a devastating toll in the Faiz Ganj area, specifically in the Khush Kher Mohammad Hesbani locality, where three children from a single family succumbed to the disease yesterday.

According to the doctors, samples from the infected children have been sent to laboratories for further analysis, and the affected children have been vaccinated against measles.
