EC issues notice to Bilawal for public gathering in Nowshera

Election Commission of district Nowshera Saturday issued a notice to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for addressing a public gathering in the city.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the EC also served the notice to the member provincial assembly (MPA) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Liaqat Khattak and Ahad Khattak.
The channel report said that the PPP lawyers’ panel comprising of eight members had submitted the reply of the notice in the district election commission office on the same day.
The report said that the EC of Nowshera district had issued the notice to Bilawal Bhutto, Liaqat Khattak and Ahad Khattak on the violation of rules by holding a public gathering there.
The report said that the PPP lawyers’ panel also raised the issue of Federal Minister Pervez Khattak’s objectionable activities in the district of Nowshera.
