Pak-Arab Housing scam: Lawyers aid ex-lawmaker's escape as court cancels bail

An accountability court cancelled on Thursday the bail of the Pak Arab Housing Society scandal accused, former senator Waqar Ahmed Khan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
According to sources, as the court cancelled his bail, the former lawmaker fled with the connivance of lawyers.
They added the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has launched a hunt for the fugitive.
The bureau alleged that the suspect denied plots to people despite receiving money from them.
It said the society defrauded the public at large by selling files more than the available plots.
NAB added the former senator collected millions from people for the files of Pak-Arab Society Phase-II, which was also not an approved project by the Lahore Development Authority.
