There was no relief for public as the common medicine for their headaches is now being sold with an increase of 400 percent in its price, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The Rs2 Panadol tablet is now being sold at Rs10.
Pharmacies said that Panadol is short in supply and that’s why its price is skyrocketing.
The pharmacies said determining the price of medicines is the duty of the Drug Regulatory Authority (DRAP).
