Rahat Fateh Ali Khan subjects domestic worker to violence

A video, showing Pakistani music maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan beating brutally one of his workers, has been making rounds on social media.
The clip showed the singer asking the victim worker about his missing 'bottle' and the latter replied he was unaware.
Although the other workers tried to save their colleagues, their master was adamant.
As the video made headlines, another clip surfaced showing the victim saying he made a mistake and paid the price.
He said whoever recorded the incident and updated it on social media attempted to defame his master Rahat.
Violence against domestic workers is not unusual.

Last year, such a case made headlines when the wife of a judge reportedly tortured a teen maid brutally.
The girl was taken to Sargodha DHQ from where she was rushed to Lahore because of her critical injuries.
