A delegation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has reached Parliament Lodges for holding final negotiations with its allied Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) parliamentarians to get their assurance against the no-confidence motion.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the government delegation will comprise four key federal ministers of the PTI including Asad Umar, Ali Zaidi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Pervez Khattak, and Sindh Governor Imran Ismail.
The channel report said that the MQM-P will take a final decision on going with the opposition's no-confidence motion or not after the meeting with the ministers’ delegation.
The sources said that the MQM-P has not put a demand of getting Sindh Governorship and a Federal Ministry.
The sources also said that the Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) had taken the MQM-P before a meeting with the Prime Minister on the issue of the no-confidence motion.
The sources said the MQM-P has also convened a consultation meeting of the party leaders at the Parliament Lodges before holding a meeting with the government delegation.
It is worth mentioning that Shah Mehmood Qureshi has already said that MQM wanted to know the details of the government's meeting with the PML-Q and they have been informed.
