Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz has invited people to participate in the Youm-e-Takbeer rally to be held at Liberty Chowk Lahore on May 28 (tomorrow).
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Maryam Nawaz using her Twitter handle appeals to the people to join her in celebrating the day when Pakistan’s defense has become unassailable.

The silver jubilee of Youm-e-Takbeer will be fervently observed on Sunday across the country in remembrance of nuclear tests conducted on May 28, 1998, that made the defense of the country invincible.
The day made Pakistan the seventh nuclear nation in the world and the first Muslim state to have a nuclear arsenal in its defense stockpile to exercise maximum deterrence for peaceful purposes.
The historic statement of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto that they would starve but transform the country into a nuclear power, led to the achievement of this milestone.
Resisting the mounting external pressures to restrain and not respond in kind, the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif went for the bold decision to test the Pakistani nukes and thus balance the strategic slanting power in the region.
