Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood interrogated over May 9 incidents

A team of Faisalabad police Friday arrived in Central Jail Adiala, Rawalpindi to interrogate Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi related to the May 9 incidents.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, permission to proceed with the inquiries at Jail Adiala was granted by the District Sessions Judge of Faisalabad.
The case under investigation pertains to the events of May 9, with its origins traced back to the jurisdiction of Civil Lines Police Station, Faisalabad.
DSP Aamir Waheed and Sub-Inspector Abdul Jabbar were included in the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) constituted to delve into the circumstances surrounding the May 9 incidents in Faisalabad.
