Faisal vs Faisal: KP CM’s brother files Rs500m defamation suit against Governor Kundi

Member National Assembly and brother of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister, Faisal Amin Gandapur has filed a Rs500 million defamation suit against KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Faisal Gandapur claimed “The governor had accused KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and me of committing corruption in the province during a private TV show.”
Faisal Gandapur said “I, my brother Ali Amin and father have a political credibility in our area which was badly hurt after the baseless allegations levelled by the KP governor.”
He further said Ali Amin is the chief minister of the province bus false allegation were levelled against him. “A legal notice was also sent to Governor Kundi to tender an apology which was not responded. So, they filed a case in the court,” he added.
KP governor, private TV channel and talk show host Salim Safi were made respondents in the case.
