Decision to restore train service from Lahore to Machh

Pakistan Railways authorities decided to restore the train Jafar Express from Lahore to Machh till the construction of collapsed bridge between Kolpur to Dozand railway stations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

In this regard, Pakistan Railways has written a letter to IG Police Balochistan to provide security.

The construction of the bridge between Kolpur and Dozand railway station will be started in the next few days, text of letter said.

The construction of the bridge will be completed in the next 45 days.

From August 30, Jafar Express and other trains are being restored to Machh railway station.

Passengers will be sent from Machh to Quetta by buses so it is requested to depute officials for security of passengers in buses, text of letter says.
