Dengue becoming real nuisance in Lahore: Yasmin Rashid

Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has said that Lahore has become the epicenter of the dengue virus and has become a nuisance for the health authorities, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
She revealed that every day 100 cases of dengue are being reported in Lahore.
She advised people not to have any stagnant water in their homes and use mosquito nets and repellent (lotion) to combat mosquitos.
“Lahore has become the epicenter of dengue in the same manner as the COVID-19 became enceinte,” she added.
Over 100 new cases of dengue patients were registered in Lahore during last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,180 cases so far.
Moreover, the Punjab specialized healthcare secretary also decided to convert the Expo field hospital into dengue patients’ hospitals if dengue goes out of control.
