KP former deputy speaker arrested in murder case

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Assembly former deputy speaker Mahmood Jan was arrested on Friday after the cancellation of his pre-arrest bail, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
A case of murdering a person was registered against Mahmood Jan and his two other accomplices by the Regi Police Station Peshawar in February this year. Since then, he was on pre-arrest bail.
The Cantt police after arresting him handed him over to Regi Police Station Peshawar. Two other persons named in the case have also been arrested.
According to police sources, there was a dispute between some members of an Isa Khel tribe and Mahmood over a property in the city. One person was killed in a firing incident in February.
