IHC told ECP has spent Rs50m for holding LG polls in Islamabad

The Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday submitted details of expenditures for holding local government elections in the ICT to the Islamabad High Court, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The ECP submitted its reply to the IHC detailing total expenditures incurred so far for conducting the local government elections in the federal capital. The commission revealed that it has spent Rs50.52 million up until now.
The commission said that a total amount of Rs150.7 million was allocated for the ECP for this purpose.
The ECP has made payments for the printing of ballot papers, election material, stationery, and petroleum charges.
