Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador Hammad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi in Lahore to discuss mutual cooperation and economic partnership.
Both sides agreed to establish a Punjab-UAE working group to elevate bilateral collaboration to new heights. The meeting focused on economic cooperation, the promotion of tourism, and developmental projects in Punjab.
During the discussion, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif invited UAE investors to explore opportunities in Punjab, assuring them of a conducive environment for investment and growth.
“This partnership is a step towards fostering sustainable development and enhancing ties between Punjab and the UAE,” the Chief Minister emphasised.
The UAE ambassador expressed interest in contributing to Punjab’s development initiatives, particularly in the tourism and infrastructure sectors. The working group will play a pivotal role in accelerating these efforts.
