Denmark won the men's world handball championship on Sunday, beating France 34-29 in the final in Stockholm, thus securing an unprecedented threepeat in the event.
The Danish victory over the Olympic champions gives them a record three consecutive victories in the leading international handball event, which is held every two years.
While the French got the deficit down to 31-29 at one point, the Danish emerged victorious in the Swedish capital.
