Five devotees killed as bus overturns in Kot Mithan

Five people were killed while 40 others were seriously injured when a speeding bus carrying devotees from Sakhi Sarwar to Jacobabad in Sindh overturned at Fazilpur area of Kot Mithankot in Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
District In-charge Rescue Dr. Aslam said that the injured were taken to District Hospital Rajanpur and hospitals in Fazalpur.
At least eight people were killed and nine others were injured when driver of a vehicle carrying a group of tourists, lost control of the vehicle as it plunged into a ravine in the Gittidas area near Babusar Pass in the northern Gilgit-Baltistan yesterday (Friday).
GB, primarily a mountainous region, has also witnessed similar tragedies in the past.
Earlier this month on July 16, five people were killed and 28 injured when a coaster carrying tourists fell into a ravine.
