People often lost their belongings at recreational places, public vehicles, restaurants, offices, and other places in the hustle and bustle of city life. Unfortunately, those valuables are forever lost in most cases because someone or the other steals them.
There are, however, a few honest people in the world who believe in doing the right thing. In an exemplary show of honesty and integrity, a cop has won accolades for returning a purse containing Rs 40,000 and ATMs to an audience that had accidentally left his wallet in Inzamam ul Haq Enclosure in Multan Cricket Stadium.
A Multan Police constable Nazim Abbas found a wallet from Inzamam-ul-Haq Enclosure Multan Stadium during his duty at the Asia Cricket Cup opening match between Pakistan and Nepal.
The wallet contains more than 40,000 rupees and essential cards including ATM.
Nazim Abbas traced the owner of the purse who was a resident of Muzaffargarh.
Nazim Abbas handed over the wallet to the cricket spectator who came to Multan to see the match.
Multan City Police was extremely happy with this effort of the young man and thanked him.
