Buzdar approves provision of health coverage to every citizen

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved provision health coverage to every citizen of the province.
He accorded the approval while chairing a high-level meeting on Universal Health Coverage Program in Lahore on Tuesday.
Addressing the meeting, Usman Buzdar said that a target has been set to provide universal health coverage in all districts of Punjab by the end of next year.
In the first phase, complete health coverage will be provided in the two districts of the province, he added.
Usman Buzdar said that every citizen of the province will be provided an annual health insurance of 720,000 rupees through Insaf Health Cards.
