JUI Shikarpur leader robbed of cash, cell phones

Robbers snatched mobile phones and cash from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Shikarpur general secretary Abdullah Mehr within the limits of Rustam police station on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, unknown armed suspects snatched three cell phones and Rs100,000 worth of cash from the JUI leader when he was on his way home in Rustam village and escaped.
On information, the Shikarpur senior superintendent of police (SSP) reached the spot.
“After the incident, an emergency meeting has been called by the JUI,” said Abdullah Mehr.
He said that his security had been withdrawn due to which the incident happened.
