Self-exiled former premier Mian Nawaz Sharif has been declared eligible for the National Health Card under Imran Khan-led-government's Universal Health Insurance Program.

The 24News HD TV Channel reported on Monday that the toll-free number—8500—provided by the government was formally confirmed the eligibility of Nawaz Sharif.

The channel report said Mian Nawaz Sharif and his late wife Begum Kalsoom Nawaz are eligible for the National Health Card and will be able to seek treatment from any of the hospitals on the panel.

An automatic message generated from 8500 has verified the eligibility of Mian Nawaz Sharif for the National Health Insurance Card as head of the family with one person (his late wife).

So now, former premier Mian Nawaz Sharif will be able to get treatment from any hospital included in the panel with the government's health card.
