Lahore-Sialkot Motorway closed for traffic due to fog

The National Highways and Motorways Police (NH&MP) on Friday closed the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M11) for traffic due to dense fog.

According to an NH&MP spokesperson, motorways are closed for people’s safety because fog can cause severe accidents. He asked people to travel during daytime if necessary. 

In advisory for the travellers, the spokesperson asked people to travel during daytime, ideally between 10:00 AM and 06:00 PM, use fog lights, avoid speeding and contact the helpline 130 for any help.
