Rap icon Eminem—real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III—has officially entered a new life chapter as a grandfather. His daughter Hailie Jade, 29, welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Elliot Marshall McClintock, on March 14, she revealed on Instagram this Friday.

The surprise bundle of joy had actually been teased months ago in Eminem’s October music video for “Temporary,” a deeply personal track dedicated to Hailie. In one touching moment, the video shows Hailie presenting her dad with a blue jumper reading “Grandpa 1” and an ultrasound photo, capturing his stunned and emotional reaction.
