High-level Russian delegation lands in Islamabad

A high-level delegation from Russia, led by the country’s Deputy Foreign Minister (FM) Andrey Rudenko, reached Islamabad on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to sources, negotiations between Pakistan and Russia formally began at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Giving details, sources said that matters such as trade, investment and economic cooperation between the two countries came under discussion at the meeting.
Besides that, they added, Pak-Russia relations and the security situation in the region were also discussed.
A discussion was held to chalk out a joint strategy to deal with the factors endangering regional security and peace.
