The Punjab government on Tuesday announced a public holiday in Lahore on April 12 on the occasion of Mela Chiraghan or Festival of Lamps.
A notification issued by the Punjab government's Services and General Administration Department says Lahore will observe a public holiday on April 12 due to the annual Urs of Hazrat Shah Hussain also known as Madho Laal Hussain.
