Public holiday in Umerkot during by-election in NA 213

Sindh government has declared a public holiday on April 17 in Umerkot district of Sindh during by-election in National Assembly 213 constituency, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to an official notification, General Administration & Coordination Department, all government and semi-government offices, schools, colleges, universities and municipal councils will remain closed on Thursday.
The holiday has been announced to facilitate the by-election on the seat which got vacated after the demise of PPP MNA Nawab Yousaf Talpur in NA-213.
In by-election, PPP’s Saba Talpur is contesting against an independent candidate Lal Malhi.
