In a significant move to bolster the law and order situation of Balochistan, Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi Tuesday pledged comprehensive support to the provincial government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The assurance came during his official visit to Quetta, where he met with Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
The two leaders discussed strategies and resources necessary for maintaining peace and stability in the province.
Minister Naqvi emphasized Balochistan's pivotal role in the nation's progress, expressing readiness to provide all necessary assistance.
"Balochistan's development is integral to Pakistan's prosperity, and we stand committed to supporting our Balochi brothers," he stated.
Chief Minister Bugti expressed gratitude for the federal government's commitment, highlighting that the mobilization of resources would significantly contribute to the province's public order.
The meeting, also attended by Balochistan Interior Minister Zia Longo and Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, marks a collaborative effort towards a peaceful and prosperous Balochistan.
