Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi along with provincial ministers visited 3 hospitals, a new interns hostel and a Shahdara flyover project for 5 hours on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During his visit, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inspected the finishing works of the Shahdara flyover project, and reviewed the ongoing works on the bridges.
Inshallah, Shahdara flyovers will be opened for traffic before November 20, disclosed Mohsin Naqvi.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed to planting of trees on the roads around the project.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also visited the Government Teaching Hospital Shahdara, Mayo Hospital, New Interns Hostel, Emergency Upgradation Project, ENT Tower and Lady Aitchison Hospital.
Shahdara Hospital's MS was found absent from duty and some patients were nebulizing themselves without masks over which Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed displeasure and ordered to provide masks for patients.
Further, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the treatment facilities in Shahdara Hospital, inspected the emergency ward, baby ward, lab and pharmacy and went to the lab to check the records of dengue patients and the pharmacy.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the progress on the upgrade work of the emergency block of Mayo Hospital.
God willing, by December 31, the work of upgradation will be completed and the emergency block will be made functional, said Mohsen Naqvi.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also inspected the CT scan machine which has been closed since 2017 and ordered to make the machine functional by December.
On the occasion, he said that staying damaged for 6 years of CT scan machine is serious negligence.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also visited the Clock Ward, ENT Ward of May Hospital and issued instructions to upgrade the Clock Ward in the same condition as the clock ward in the old building of Mayo Hospital was built in 1871.
The Chief Minister also directed to upgrade the ENT ward as well.
Chief Minister also visited the 8-storey Institute of Ophthalmology and visited various wards where he found some wards had empty beds and no patients and he ordered for efficient management of beds.
The number of patients in some wards of Mayo Hospital is more and in some less, the hospital administration can provide beds for every patient by best management, instructed Mohsen Naqvi.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi gave instructions to the Secretary Construction and Communications for permanent drainage of the water in the basement of the institute.

In some wards, the beds were empty, while in some wards two women were being treated on one bed on which the Chief Minister expressed indignation.
He said that managing beds is the primary responsibility of the hospital administration and negligence will not be tolerated.
Provincial Ministers Mansoor Qadir, Aamir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Bilal Afzal, Ibrahim Hasan Murad, Secretary Housing, Secretary Health, Secretary Construction and Communications, Commissioner Lahore Division, CCPO, Deputy Commissioner and related officials were also present on this occasion.
