Shehbaz to call APC on controversial election bill

PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has decided to call an all-parties conference on the controversial election bill, reported 24News HD TV channel on Saturday.

Sources said that the date for the APC would be decided after the consultation with all united opposition parties. All the opposition parties will be invited to participate in the conference.

The sources said that other than the opposition parties, all stakeholders including the Election Commission of Pakistan, civil society, and the media would also be invited to participate in the APC. They said that the election observation and monitoring organizations would also be invited in this regard.
