ANF recovers 512 kg drugs, arrests 8 suspects in operations across country

Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered 256-kilogram drugs and arrested three suspects during four operations against drug trafficking in Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, 187 kilogram of ketamine was recovered by ANF during a raid on a warehouse in Maripur, Karachi which was hidden in salt bags for smuggling abroad and a resident of Karachi was arrested during the operation.
According to spokesperson, ANF also recovered 50 kg hashish was recovered from the 2 accused, residents of Dera Bugti Balochistan present in the vehicle near Shikarpur Road Sukkur.
ANF also recovered 8 kg of heroin from a vehicle near Aminpur Road, Faisalabad.
The recovered heroin was found in hidden boxes behind the vehicle's headlights and during the operation, 2 accused, residents of Charsadda were arrested.
Not less than 11 kg hashish hidden for smuggling, recovered in uninhabited area of Zakhakhel Khyber.
The ANF spokesman said that cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the accused.
