Pakistan, Iran to ink two MoUs on film, cinema, workforce

Pakistan has decided to sign two memorandums of understanding (MoU) with Iran on collaboration in the field of film and cinema and workforce, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Sources told 24News TV channel that the federal cabinet had given a green signal to the government to go ahead with its plan.
They added that in this regard, the cabinet had approved two separate summaries through circulation.
The two countries were expected to sign the MoUs during the visit of Iran’s president to Pakistan, sources informed.
They elaborated that under the MoU, both countries would take steps for the exchange of skilled workers with each other besides enhancing cooperation for their welfare.
Furthermore, sources explained, Iran and Pakistan would also discuss setting up a ‘welfare fund’ for them.
Under the MoU to be signed on cooperation in culture, Pakistan and Iran would initiate joint production projects besides exchanging delegations for understanding each other’s film industry.
Sources disclosed that the governments of both countries would also hold cultural shows.
