Robber shot dead in Raiwind police encounter

A robber was shot dead during an encounter with the police in Raiwind near Lahore on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, two robbers snatched a bike and cash from Raiwind resident Ali Raza at gunpoint and fled the scene.
The local residents informed the Raiwind police through helpline 15. As soon as the police reached the spot, robbers opened fire on them.
During the police encounter on Lakho Wall Road, one of the robbers was killed while his partner managed to escape from the scene.
According to Station House Officer (SHO) Abrar Shah, the police took the dead body of the accused under their custody and further investigation was in process.
