Azaan Sami khan talks about reuniting with his father after long gaps

Multitalented Pakistani star Azaan Sami Khan was featured as a guest on Nida Yasir's Ramadan program Shaan E Suhoor, where he discussed his bond with his father, Adnan Sami Khan.

During the candid conversation with the host, Azaan was questioned about the number of years that passed before the singer reunited with his father.

To which he said that after the age of 5, he met and lived with him for a year or so when was 14–15 years old, after some familial issues were resolved. After that, some more familial issues came up, due to which he did not meet his father until last year, but they have remained in touch.

Here are the exact words of the actor explaining his sort of relationship with his father and how he chose to see the situation positively:

“I met my father when I was 15. Previously, I had been in touch with him until age five. After that, I reunited with him when I was fifteen years old. I spent a year with him and learned a lot from our time together. We often learn valuable lessons from our closest relations, especially when

we reconnect after a longer period of time. You also tend to notice many positive qualities in them."

"I believe every family faces issues, and ours became public due to my parents’ celebrity status. Our reunion came after a period of reconciliation. We connected because we both wanted to meet each other. Then again, there were a few differences that came our way. However, we managed to resolve our issues last year. There was a time when I felt anger towards his absence, but now I view things differently. I strive to extract positivity from every situation.”

The actor further expressed that he considers himself a good father to his children because he aspires to be a responsible parent.

It is pertinent to mention here that Azaan Sami Khan is the son of two brilliant and talented celebrities, Adnan Sami Khan and Zeba Bakhtiar.
